Gallery Precinct 2259 Love Lanes Festival

The event will be an abundance of colour, sounds and smells of a food market plus the buzz, hype and vibe of a huge outdoor festival encompassing the theme of ‘Love’. Guests and stallholders will celebrate the fantastic food and entertainment from around the region with beautifully designed stalls and dining under the stars precinct created to soak up free live music across multiple stages, roving entertainment, circus precinct and art installations on local buildings. The 5 Lands Walk: Art in the Open – 1st to 28th February 2018

The 5 Lands Art in the Open is an annual outdoor art event as part of the 5 Lands Walk. Then the artists bring works from the day and a work inspired by the day, to the major exhibition at The Art House Wyong where a first second and third prize is decided by the judges. Brisbane Water Historical Society’s upcoming temporary exhibition is a charming collection of photographic images on loan from the Local History Collection of Central Coast Council. The images are from the Les Allen collection that captured many star studded performances and social highlights of the Gosford Leagues Club back in the 60’s and 70’s. Runs until 28th February 2018. The Toukley and Districts Art Society
in our home at the Federation Gallery and Information Centre,  Wallarah Road, Gorokan, just before Toukley Bridge, is the showcase for the Wyong Shire Art scene. On display are paintings in oil, acrylics, watercolour and pastel, along with porcelain, hand-painted silk, craft work, jewellery, and original cards. All the artwork is by the Society’s local members and are all for sale at reasonable prices. Come in and meet the artists. The Art and Information Gallery, is open daily from Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, on Sat & Sun, from 10am to 1pm. We now have a Coffee Shop, located inside the Gallery, so call in and have a browse with a nice cup of coffee or tea, afterwards.
