Multi-instrumentalists BluesAngels formed in 2010 to bring original and authentic acoustic folk blues/jazz/roots to the Central Coast and beyond.

From jug band to jazz-infused New Orleans shake, Chicago blues bellow to bluegrass bounce, plugged or unplugged, BluesAngels will warm your whiskers with their backhills bemoaning and beatnik beatitudes. Guitars and gobirons, mandos and banjos, swingin’ sax and creampuff clarinet, the Beatles bass, and a thimbleful of washboard waling, spoons, kalimba and percussion, it’s trad east coast blues the way we don’t often hear it; pre-WW1 songcatchers matched with post-WW2 blues-bashers and modern times’ funkin’ rootsabilly.

Special deck session – THE ROAMIN’ JASMINE [New Orleans]

Sun Sept 17th @ 2pm – 5pm

The RJ embody everything that we love about New Orleans. They’re a melting pot of old school big band influences (think Cab Calloway) and country blues (think Leadbelly or Son House) and they play with the inimitable swagger that can only come from starting on the streets of one of the greatest music towns on earth. They take a little piece of the town with them everywhere they go. Now

worldtravelers , the Roamin’ Jasmine make their Australian debut in September 2017, promoting their brand new record ‘Live at Horace’s Bar’. Visit

Canadian born McNeil has been releasing albums in Australia to the adulation of critics and aficionados since her arrival to our shores in 2007. Described as “fully realized, world-class country rock“ (Rhythms Magazine), her latest release Thieves (winner of Best Country Album at The Age Music Victoria Awards), brings a healthy dose of Californian shimmer, harking back to the halcyon days of late 70s L.A country rock with Laurel Canyon-esque harmonies hung from pop-hooks.

Deck Sessions – Charlie & Jensen

Sun Sept 24th  @ 2pm – 5pm

Charlie & Jensen is the pseudonym for the musical collaboration of Hunter Beasley (Charlie) and Luke Wright (Jensen). This dynamic acoustic duo blends elements of folk-country, celtic and classical music, mixing original compositions with standards from a wide range of styles as well as improvisational performance. Charlie & Jensen utilise Mandolin, Mandola, Mandocello and Guitar to create a unique sound that showcases an impressive musical chemistry between two artists.

Wandering singing mystic or madman, fool or saint, and unknown national treasure Archer releases his long awaited second album The divine church of the open sky volume II on Pound Records, accompanied by a string of shows across the country.

The album, which was recorded entirely outside, under the open sky, shines Archer’s trademark honesty, heart and humour across a songlist including unknown old time country ballads and gentle lovesongs or prayers to the land and it’s rivers, trees and animals.

The album includes single Muhammad and Jesus/Jesus and Muhammad, Archer’s simple catchy peace song

Sat Sept 30th @ 7.30pm

The Weeping Willows, Laura Coates and Andrew Wrigglesworth, are a couple of old souls, steeped in Bluegrass tradition and draped in Gothic Americana imagery. They regale their audiences with stories of sunshine and romance, God and The Devil, murder and decay. That kind of description might make them sound like some carefully contrived concept-act but there’s something truly different about The Weeping Willows: they really mean it…

The explosive duo features the electrifying award-winning frontwoman Zee Gachette deemed “one to watch” by BBC Radio 2 (drums and acoustic guitar), and guitar prodigy Sebastien Heintz, who effortlessly deliver a fascinating cinematic road trip of sound.

Zee’s hypnotic presence, bewitching raspy blue tones, big acoustic guitars and swampy grooves laced with Seb’s dark desert slide, psyche blues guitars and synth make for a beautifully dangerous concoction. From the acoustic sublime, to high octane rock.

Sensual, expansive, powerful. The duo’s sound journeys through an intoxicating and experimental mix of Country Blues and Desert Rock.
