A Review of WDG’s “The Vicar of Dibley” from Yuley Buist

I think everyone is talking about the show and how true the characters the actors are. Hilarious fun and Jillian Logan is Dawn French as the Vicar. Everyone has their scripts down pat. The directors Alex Travers and Maddy Parker must be very pleased with this show. A toast to the show “and all who sailed in her” (sorry, a pun on a line in the show).
It is a nice experience to see the new theatre. A pity about confusion with seat numbering, which seems to be different than shown; the replacement stickers need to be larger so you can actually see them while standing but I am sure this will be addressed as soon as possible. The back of the seats are very hard though and if anyone has a bad back I suggest a pillow. Don’t let it put you off seeing the show as being entranced by the comedy soon takes your mind to Dibley’s town parish.
